I've always had this mad dream of writing books so here we are, unleashing the creative
beast.
About Me
I'm a Software Engineer by day and Indie Author by night. I'm both Venezuelan and Spanish, but I
decided to write in English, so portraying multicultural characters became important to me.
I'm also a proud mother and one of those elder millennials still figuring herself out in her
forties.
My stance on A. I.
AI is mentioned in my books. In fact, it helps some of the characters.
In my mind—where this story was born and evolved before being written word by word, edited,
proofread, and later printed—Assistive AI is a powerful tool that can help detect early-stage
cancer, prevent rare diseases, catch criminals, improve our lives, and so on. In my written world,
there is no Generative AI. An AI trained with stolen talent and used to snatch away human creativity
and intelligence.
A tool that threatens to turn intelligence into a commodity that can be bought with tokens and that
jeopardizes our future. This was a conscious decision made by ME, the AUTHOR, because these are my
books and I can have that small glimmer of control.
I've been working in technology for years now; I use and help develop assistive AI tools in my day
job (Software Engineering), though generative AI is a different matter. The way it was trained and
the resources it consumes make it unethical for me to use it, especially in creative spaces.
I absolutely refuse to use GenAI in my writing because, for me, writing is about learning and
healing. I've learned so much about the world, and especially about myself, since I started this
crazy writing adventure that I couldn't imagine outsourcing this process to a machine.
I also refuse to use it in my editing, promotion, covers, etc. There are plenty of outstanding human
artists out there, and I will always prefer to collaborate with an actual human being.
Art, per se, is such an intrinsic part of humanity...
GenAI isn't creative; genAI doesn't really create anything; what it does is give you an averaged mix
of the thing you asked for, based on the immeasurable stolen content it has access to.
Anyway, if you’re ok with prompting the AI to build a story or a picture for you, that’s on you. But
don’t call yourself an author or an artist; you’re a prompter. Just be open and honest about it and
let the readers decide for themselves.
There will always be—I hope—readers who prefer human-made content, and many of us will continue to
create it for them.
Our current legislation hasn't caught up with the advances and the threat GenAI poses, but please
respect my stance and do not feed my work into any existing GenAI models. This applies to my books,
covers, commissioned art, and any other creation with Intellectual Property.
Thank you! - ¡Gracias! - Tack!
True or Knot Series
About my Books
My books are open-door, polyamorous romance novels and are not intended for readers under 18.
I wrote the True or Knot series to be a sort of introduction to the Omegaverse genre.
Each book is different and gets a tiny bit darker as the story evolves.
What is an Omegaverse?
Every Omegaverse is different, but they all share some common elements:
- They take part in an alternate universe. In this universe, humans evolved into three
designations:
Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
- There are some physiological differences between these designations.
- Society has evolved to adopt "Packs" as a common family unit.
Why Omegaverse?
Look, I don't know. I was reading one when the idea struck me out of nowhere.
Who am I to question the universe? ;)
Are my books spicy?
There are open-door scenes, yes, but if you're looking for "Carolina Reaper" levels of spice, these
are not the books for you :)
Again, I wrote this as an introduction to the genre, so the spice might seem mild if you're an avid
Omegaverse reader—which sometimes is needed, like a palate cleansing in between servings—but it
might seem really hot if you're not used to... team activities.
I can recommend great books where "the smut is the plot", but mine are not.
At least for now.
Where can you find my books?
You can read the eBooks on Kindle Unlimited.
You can buy the paperback on Amazon, B&N, TheGreatBritishBookshop(aka: BookVault), every online
bookstore that connects to Ingram, and some indie bookstores like:
Ink&Ivy (NJ-USA)
The Crafty Bookstore (IN-USA)
Star-Veiled Bookstore (UK)
Am I planning any Special Edition?
I am.
I may publish hardcover editions with an alternate cover and a special edition with some extended
scenes in the future. For now, I'm focusing on finishing this five-book series.
Am I going to translate the books to Spanish?
No idea. I've never read an Omegaverse in my native language before. I don't think its a very popular
genre.
Maybe if you ask nicely.
Pack or Knot
My name is Sara, and this is the fifteenth interview in this crazy city. Ever since I presented as an
Omega, I’ve tried to go the extra mile in order to prove that I’m worth more than my designation.
But today, I’m determined to get this job.
What I wasn’t expecting was to meet the Fredriksson pack—Erik, Lars, Adam, and Jessy—four Alphas who
happen to be my scent matches and, guess what? My new bosses. So now, apart from learning how to
navigate the dynamics of work, I find myself drawn to each Alpha for different reasons, wondering
whether we could really become a Pack or Knot.
As we give this unexpected courtship a chance, a suspicious security breach threatens to bring the
whole company down.
Beta or Knot
I thought the universe hated me.
I’ve been working at Paylance for three years, and it has been three years too long of longing over
someone I knew I could never have—Lars Fredriksson, one of my bosses.
When his pack started courting another Omega, all I could do was watch and wish I were normal. A
normal Omega, whose own body didn't actively work against her, because my designation has brought me
nothing but pain.
Excruciating, life-threatening pain.
Oh, except fate had other plans, and when I meet my scent matches, I'm forced to rethink all of my
life choices and trust the universe I once thought hated me.
But my Beta’s gaze hides secrets that could make us all crumble. It doesn't matter, because now I’m
determined to make this new pack work; I don’t care if she’s a Beta or Knot.
Trigger Warning
I understand there’s a debate over the use of trigger or content warnings, so if you think you
don’t need any then please skip this section. But, if you need a heads up before deciding if
this book is for you, here’s a list of subjects that might be sensitive for some people:
Coercive coercion
Domestic Abuse
Forced Pregnancy
SA of the FMC prior to the story
